All Sola SkyLights glazing elements are manufactured in high quality UV protected polycarbonate and are available as single, double and triple-skin units in the following options: Clear; diffused; bronze anti-glare; opal (other shapes available on request)
A huge range of upstands and adaptor kerbs are available, with options for ventilation, insulation, increased security or access.

Materials: PVCU, aluminum, galvanised steel, GRP.
Finishes: Galvanised steel and aluminum with M600 primer as standard with option of white gloss paint or polyester powder coated finishes. PVCU: High thermal efficiency, white, low maintenance coated finishes. GRP: White, smooth finish internally. A range of circular up-stands are also available in GRP, galvanised steel or aluminum.
Insulation: Supplied as standard on GRP, as optional extra on galvansied steel and aluminum. PVCU self insulating.
Sola SkyLight Standard
To fully integrate into the building design the Sola Skylight Standard range is available in a number of shapes—dome, pyramid, circular, hemispherical, hexagon and northlight.
The glazing is manufactured in enhanced UV protected polycarbonate and available as either single, double or triple-skin units in clear, diffused, bronze anti-glare or opal finishes.
Where ventilation is required there are a number of manual or powered vent options—permanent, hit and miss, rotary or hinged. Sola SkyLight Standard units are made-to-measure for each project however there are also a number of regular glazing sizes available.
Sola SkyLight AOV
In order to ensure the control of smoke ventilation an Automatic Opening Vent (AOV) should be located at the top of a building ventilation shaft or a stairwell and should be incorporated as part of an overall smoke/fire ventilation/alarm system.
Sola SkyLight AOV’s are available with either glazed polycarbonate (single, double or triple-skin) or solid tops, depending upon where the rooflight is to be installed.
The AOV’s are available with either 90° or 140° openings and can have fully concealed motorised arms that are positioned within the AOV kerb—ensuring that the internal aesthetics of the building are not compromised.
All Sola SkyLight AOV rooflights are made-to-measure for each project.
Sola SkyLight Barrel Vaults
In areas where higher quantities of daylight are required, Sola SkyLight Barrel Vaults provide a continuous rooflight system consisting of interlocking polycarbonate glazing.
The system is classed as ‘non-fragile’ and can be supplied in either single, double or triple-skin, with a choice of clear, bronze anti-glare or diffused finish.
Where ventilation is needed, a number of manual or powered vent systems are available and can be incorporated into the rooflight design.
The Barrel Vault system can accommodate any length of run with a maximum span of 2.4 m wide.
